Kaushie Adiseshan presents moods of feminine fashion at LFW
Mumbai, Mar 28 (UNI) Working around the three inspirations of Euphoria, Rapture and Bliss, Kaushie Adiseshan named each garment after a female goddess from the Greek and Indian mythology and presented her label 'Pink Elf' at her debut in the Lakme Fashion Week today.
One label, two fabrics and three inspirations - that is how Kaushie Adiseshan, a graduate of Fashion Design from FIDM San Francisco, California, made with great aplomb in the show.
She showcased a collection in satin and silk in just two silhouettes - the kimono tunic and the baby doll top. With such a firm hold on her creativity, Kaushie's garments were a dream collection for women.
Also keeping the shades under control - Bliss had mainly amber tones, Rapture lots of red and Euphoria the drama of black, Kaushie had tiny tube and kimono dresses, a few elegant raincoats and trench coat and then moved on to pleated tubes, bubble dress, a red fitted dress with belt and then ended the show on a high with a red/white large polka dot eight panel skirt with a V neck top and scarf belt.
Here was a practical timeless line of very easy, comfortable women's wear by Kaushie Adiseshan with a total restrain on embellishments to take the buyer from dawn to dusk for any season without much effort.
