Hoax call creates bomb scare in National Bank
Surat, Mar 28 (UNI) A call received at the National Co-operative Bank at Karwa Road in Nanpura in the city today, informing about a bomb being planted in the bank, created scare. However it turned out to be a hoax, police said.
An unidentified caller made a call this mornign to the bank saying that a bomb had been planted in the bank building, police said.
Bank manager JC Modi, who received the call, immediately informed the matter with the police control room and a bomb disposal squad and dog squad rushed to the spot, sources said.
However police have not found anything suspicious even after a thorough inspection, sources said.
