Hearing on writ on SEZ to be taken up on July 11

Chandigarh, Mar 28 (UNI) The hearing on the writ petition filed in the Punjab and Haryana High Court by Ajay Singh Chautala, MP secretary general, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) seeking directions to quash the Haryana government's decision to allot fertile, cultivable land for the special economic zone (SEZ) being set up by Mumbai-based Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) would now be taken up on July 11.

This was ordered by the division bench of the Chief Justice Vijender Jain and Justice Rajive Bhalla during the resumed hearing on the petition, to enable the Haryana government and the RIL of Mukesh Ambani to file their response to the contention of the petitioner who had challenged the very act passed by the Central and the Haryana government for establishing SEZs.
