Arjun Saluja takes fashion onto new dimension at LFW
Mumbai, Mar 28 (UNI) Various forms of architecture and different cultures was the guiding light for Arjun Saluja's creative label 'Rishta' showcased at the LFW.
Proving that he can innovate and push his creative instincts to the ultimate limits Arjun stuck to a colour palette of just three tone, brown, grey and ink blue in fabrics that were natural but textured with amazing detailing.
Bringing in vintage silhouettes which had appliqui, hand painting, prints and stitching techniques Arjun had jackets, skirts, dresses, long gowns and a few men's wear.
Each garment was replete with fabric embellishments in silhouettes that remained close to the body for the jackets, coats and dresses while the bottom wear moved form figure hugging pants to billowy churi breeches for both men and women.
The garments had a distinct military touch which was brought into a futuristic zone with the styling. Thick cord detailing, sharp little pleats, quilted collars reverse large lapels for coats.
Button embellishment, square shoulders, cuffed bloomer jumpsuit, long coat with pin tucked balloon sleeves, each garment had a milange of fabric structuring that took them to a new dimension.
