R'sthan police arrests youth from Bengal in connection with robbery

Basirhat, Mar 27 (UNI) Rajasthan police today arrested a youth from Paikpara in North 24 Parganas for his alleged involvement in a robbery at Maheshnagar in Rajasthan.

The sub-divisional judicial magistrate court here has remanded Abdul Karim, 30, to police custody, granting transit permit to Rajasthan police to take the accused with them.

According to Rajasthan police, the accused was engaged as a domestic help in Maheshnagar from where he stole a sizable amount of cash and ornaments, including diamonds.

Two of his accomplices were arrested earlier from Rajasthan, the visiting police team said.
