Fire near Jessore end of Airport

Kolkata, Mar 27 (UNI) A fire broke out near the perimeter wall of the NSCBI Airport at the Jessore end side near a Masjid this afternoon.

Five fire engines fought the blaze that as noticed at 1430 hrs and estinguised by 1700 hrs.

AAI officers said investigations were being done on what caused the fire, but could have most likely been caused by a cigarrette stub that might have fallen accidentally there from a labourer.
