Quake rumours claim life of a woman
Phagwara, Mar 22 (UNI) Earthquake rumours claimed the life of an aged woman at Khera village in Punjab today.
The deceased was identified as Pavittar Kaur (70). She was asleep and awakened by her son Harbhajan Singh when an earthquake alert was sounded from a gurdwara, according to family sources.
She rushed out of her house in panic and struck against an electric pole, receiving head injuries. She fell unconscious and was taken to a nearby private hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
