Pantaloons Femina Miss India Collection unveiled
Mumbai, Mar 22: In a dazzling fashion show held at hotel J W Marriott here, Pantaloons Fresh Fashions unveiled the 'Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2007' collection, its spring-summer collection inspired by the colours of Turmeric and gulal.
Walking the ramp in an exclusive preview of the collection late last night, were 25 dazzling finalists of the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2007 pageant. Also blazing the ramp for the finale of the evening was Bollywood heartthrob and Pantaloons brand ambassador Zayed Khan. Renowned singer and composer Shibani Kashyap entertained the guests lending her vocal skills to Indo-western tracks.
Inspired by Haldi and Gulal, the collection has a riot of reds yellows and fuchsias, the colours of the season. Pantaloon believes that the collection is a tribute to the culture of India, to its people and their zest for life.
The collection has a wide range of silhouettes with options in western wear as well as ethnic wear. The western wear range includes knit and woven topwear matched with skirts, capris, city pants and jeans, while the ethnic range comprises of kurtis and knit tops to go with churidars and ghagras.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO, Pantaloon Fresh Fashions said '' The Miss India collection fashion show by Pantaloon, which started off as a solitary expedition last year, is now taking the shape of an annual event.
