Man hacks 4 of family, arrested

Lucknow, Mar 22 (UNI) In a shocking incident, a mentally unstable man today hacked four members of his family in Lalitpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

Police said here Ram Singh Bundela used a sharp-edged weapon to hack his wife Badi Raja, son Mangal Singh (8), daughter Mandvi (5) and sister-in-law Guddi.

The incident took place at village Toriya in Kotwali area, some 12 km from the district headquarters.

The accused was later arrested from the crime spot itself.
