Govt withdraws the appointment of IAS officer for law secretary

Jaipur, Mar 22(UNI) Rajasthan government today withdrew the appointment order of IAS officer T Srinivasan for the post of law secretary official sources said.

The state government and the judiciary have been at loggerheads for over a week since the government appointed an IAS offcier as the new Law Secretary.

While the government has turned a deaf ear to the demands of the judiciary to withdraw its order, the judiciary retaliated by calling back about half a dozen judicial officers on deputation with the state government.

The judiciary has been demanding a judicial officer for the post of Law Secretary.
