Body of a Maharashtrian man found in Anand

Anand, Mar 22 (UNI) Police today recovered a body of a person with his badly smashed head, near GIDC Vithal Udyognagar area under Vidyanagar police station.

Police said the body was later identified as of a 45-year-old Jagdish Nilabhai Patil, a resident of Jalgaon in Maharashtra.

Patil, who worked as a labourer some years back in this area, had returned to the city last Tuesday. Police is clueless about the motive behind his murder.

No arrest has been made so far, police said.
