Bank of Baroda launches its 1,000th CBS branch in Jaipur

Mumbai, Mar 22 (UNI) Bank of Baroda (BoB), one of the country's premier public sector banks, yesterday launched its 1000th CBS branch in Jaipur along with 111 new ATMs accross the country.

Speaking on the occasion, the bank CMD, Dr Anil K Khandelwal, said that all modern technologies are deployed by the bank for providing pleasurable banking experience and greater banking convenience to the bank's over 290 lakh customers around the globe.

He dedicated technology to the bank's customers as also to bank's 40000 employees, who have worked hard to adopt modern technology in their day to day operations, a bank release here today said.

Dr Khandelwal also mentioned that all customer centric initiatives like 12 hour banking, 24 hour banking, retail loan factories, SME loan factories are designed to get closure to the customers and give them the best of banking services and world class products. While mentioning about the bank's large overseas presence and operations, he shared the bank's ambitious plans to have 100 overseas offices by 2010.

He inaugurated eight new branches and three BSVS in Rajasthan and pledged to work for integrated rural development in the State through its vast branch network. Dungarpur district, which is the most backward districts in Rajasthan, has been adopted by the bank for total integrated development as part of the bank's centenary year projects, he added.
