UTI Bank opens licenced bank branch in Hong Kong

Mumbai, Mar 21 (UNI) UTI Bank has opened its licenced bank branch in Hong Kong, offering a range of products and solutions to corporates and individuals.

The bank's foray into Hong Kong is key to the bank's strategy to participate in the strong economic growth in the East and Far-East Asian markets, complimented by its presence in China and Singapore, a Bank said release here today.

Commenting on the development, PJ Naik, CMD, UTI Bank, said ''Our presence in Hong Kong is another step in the Bank's strategy to establish a pan-Asia presence and will provide a platform for accessing other markets in the region''.

The bank currently has a network of 529 branches and extention counters and 2284 ATMs across India.
