TRS alleges injustice to Telangana region during last 50 yrs

Hyderabad, Mar 21 (UNI) Members of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) today alleged that injustice was meted out to Telangana region during the last 50 years and the successive governments had not taken steps for its development.

Talking to newspersons after staging a walkout from the House protesting against the alleged raw deal given to the region in the allocation of funds for various developmental projects, Nayani Narasimha Reddy and other MLAs alleged that the government had not provided real facts on the expenditure and revenues in the three regions of Telangana, Rayalaseema and Andhra.

He alleged that the government had shown less revenue and more expenditure on Telangana region and more revenue and less expenditure for Andhra and Rayalaseema regions, only to mislead the people.

Mr Reddy said though the government showed records of allocating more funds to Telangana region, it was spending less on the projects in the region.
