SAIL, Jaiprakash in JV to set up 2.2 mtpa cement plant

New Delhi, Mar 21 (UNI) Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) will form a 26:74 joint venture with Jaiprakash Associates Ltd (JAL).

The JV company will set up a plant to produce 2.2 million tonnes of cement, at Bhilai by using slag generated at Bhilai Steel Plant and lime stone generated from the company's mines at Satna.
