NCP ties up with Shiv Sena in Gadchiroli, Amravati ZP

Nagpur, Mar 21 (UNI) In a dramatic turn of events, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) tied up with the Shiv Sena to capture the posts of President and Vice President in the Zilla Parishads (ZPs) in Gadchiroli and Amravati in Vidarbha at the elections held today.

Elsewhere in Vidarbha, the Congress-NCP combine captured power in Yavatmal, Chandrapur, Buldhana and Wardha ZPs, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-Shiv Sena alliance did so in Nagpur ZP.
