Lok Sabha Speaker to lead delegation to Vietnam

New Delhi, Mar 21 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee will be leading an eight member Parliamentary delegation to Vietnam on March 23.

According to a Lok Sabha Secretariat release here today, during its five-day visit the delegation will have wide ranging discussions with the Vietnam President Nguyen Minh Triet, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, President of National Assembly Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of Communist Party of Vietnam Nong Due Manh and with the local leadership of Ho Chi Minh city People Council.

The other members of the Indian Parliamentary delegation includes Mr Rishang Keishing, Mr Kishanbhai V Patel, Dr Babu Rao Mediyam, Dr H T Sangliana, Thupstan Chhewang and Shyam Benegal all members of Parliament and Mr P D T Acharya, Lok Sabha Secretary General and Mr K Vijayakrishnan Joint Secretary Lok Sabha Secretariat, the release added.
