Heat conditions prevail over several parts of the country

Pune, Mar 21 (UNI) Heat wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in Vidarbha in Maharashtra and north coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Arunachal Pradesh,Assam and Meghalaya, Manipur,Madhya Pradesh,south Konkan and Goa,Vidarbha,Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu and remaining parts of north coastal Andhra Pradesh and were above normal in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim,west Uttar Pradesh and Telangana and in some parts of east Rajasthan and of Kerala.

They were appreciably to makedly below normal in Jammu and Kashmir. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of Tamil Nadu.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Gangetic West Bengal, Haryana,est Rajsthan,Madhya Pradesh,maharashtra and Goa States, north Chattisgarh and Telangana and were above normal in some some parts of Orissa,Himachal Pradesh,west Rajasthan,Gujrat State, south Chatisgarh,Rayalseema and of coastal Karnataka.They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow are likely to occur at many places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thunershowers are likely to occur at a isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh,Assam and Meghalaya,Orissa,Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan, coastal Andhra Pradesh. Mainly dry weather will prevail over the Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, south Rajasthan,Gujrat State, Konkan and Goa,madhya Maharashtra,Marathwada,Telangana, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu,Karnataka State and Kerala.

Rain or snow have occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh and at a few places in Uttaranchal.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Rain or thundershowers have occured at a few places in west Uttar Pradesh,Haryana and Punjab.
