The 60-km-long Drass-Kargil road has also been closed for traffic due to heavy snowfall and landslides at Matyan.

The Srinagar-Drass is already closed since November 15 last year due to heavy snowfall at Zojila, Gumri and Zero point.

People in Pandrass, Matyan Mushkoo and Drass have been advised to remain indoor because of snow avalanche threat.
