Par re-scedules proceedings, to meet on Apr 26

New Delhi, Mar 20: Parliament will re-convene on April 26 after recess as against April 18 announced earlier in view of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, it was announced in Rajya Sabha today.

Immediately after the House re-assembled at 1400 hrs to take up the post-lunch session, Deputy Chairman K Rahman Khan read out a message from the Parliamentary Affairs Ministry saying that the House would re-convene on April 26 after recess till May 22.

This was being done in view of the UP assembly elections, he said.

Earlier, it had been announced that the House would re-convene on April 18.

The House will adjourn from tomorrow for the recess till April 26.
