Israeli Dy PM pays take a ride in Delhi Metro
New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) Israel's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Road Safety Shaul Mofaz today took a ride in the Delhi Metro.
Accompanied by Israeli Ambassador to India David Danielli, Mr Mofaz travelled from the Central Secretariat to Rajiv Chowk and back.
Delhi Metro Rail Corp Managing Director E Sreedharan showed him around.
The delegation appreciated the fast-paced construction of Delhi Metro project, the modern technology used and its management style, which resulted in speedy implementation of the project.
Israel was presently constructing a metro facility in Tel Aviv.
