HC notice to Haryana on PIL on Mahavir Jayanti

Chandigarh, Mar 20 (UNI) Punjab and Haryana High Court today issued notice for March 26 to Haryana government and all the deputy commissioners of the state, on a PIL seeking directions to shut liquor vends and meat shops on Mahavir Jayanti falling on March 31, this year.

The division bench of Chief Justice Vijender Jain and Justice Rajive Bhalla issued the notice on the PIL filed by Bharatiya Jain Milan organisation, Yamuna Nagar.
