Godrej expects a turnover of Rs 100 crore

Kolkata, Mar 20 (UNI) Godrej and Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited expects a turnover of about Rs 100 crore at the end of this fiscal.

Speaking at the launch of Godrej Lifespace e-MAIL here at one its Lifespace outlets, Business Head-Retailing Division Manager Shyam Motwani said, '' There has been a 55 per cent growth rate recorded this year. '' He also said, '' We are now targetting the young married couples, who are not only well educated, but also well placed in society with a capacity to buy. '' Addressing the media here, Mr Motwani said he expected an increase in turnover by Rs 20 crore from Kolkata alone. He also hoped there will be an increase in investment for Kolkata by about Rs 50 crore.

Godrej and Boyce Mfg Ltd, which opened an outlet in Bangalore last week, would open two more in Gurgaon and Hyderabad in the coming week.

The Lifespace brand, operating in all the major cities of the country for the past three-four years, today forayed into a new business outlet on the internet to utilise the emergence of e-commerce in India.

The site will interact with the customers to identify their special needs and cater to them accordingly.

'' In fact the site offers its customers a Triple Zero Advantage - Zero downpayment, Zero interest rate and Zero processing fee, '' he said.
