Dell to set up manufacturing plant in Chennai: CEO

New Delhi, Mar 20: Technology service provider Dell Inc today said it will set a new manufacturing unit at Sriperumbudur, Chennai, in July this year.

''With local manufacuturing in place, Dell's most comprehensive presence in the world outside the US will be in India entailing domestic sales, R&D, &xD;manufacturing, customer support, services and analytics,'' Dell Chief Executive Officer Michael Dell told reporters here.
