Budgetary demand of Home department passed
Patna, Mar 20 (UNI) Amid boycott of the House by Opposition over demand for withdrawal of censure motion adopted on March 12, the Bihar Assembly today passed the budgetary demands of home department by voice vote.
State energy minister Bijendra Prasad, also in-charge of home affairs, proposed the budgetry demand of over Rs 1623 crores which was passed by the voice vote in absence of opposition parties barring the Samajwadi party.
The House also rejected the cut motion moved by an Independent MLA Kishore Kumar.
