1 killed, 7 injured as Qualis overturns in Anand

Anand, Mar 20 (UNI) One person was killed and seven others injured when the Qualis in which they were travelling turned turtle near Vaghasi village, about 3 km from here.

Keshavrao Vishram Patel, 60, who along with his family was on way to Ahmedabad from Mumbai died on the spot.

The driver of the Qualis was blinded by the sudden glare of an oncoming truck and lost control of the vehicle, police said.

The injured Jhaveriben Keshavrao Patel, Arvindbhai Puvar, Narainbhai Patel, Savitaben Patel, Ratilal Patel, Sobhanaben and Navinbhai have been admitted to Karamsad's Shree Krishna Hospital.
