Velu to flag off new train service from Machilipatnam

Vijayawada, Mar 19 (UNI) Union Minister of state for Railways R Velu will flag off a daily passenger train service between Vijayawada and Machilipatnam on March 26 at Machilipatnam.

Vijayawada Additional Divisional Railway Manager V V Satyanarayana today said the Minister would also inaugurate a passenger reservation system at Machilipatnam on the same day.

The passenger train would leave Vijayawada at 0830 hrs and arrive Machilipatnam at 1130 hrs.

In its return journey, the train would depart from Machilipatnam at 1140 hrs and arrive Vijayawada at 1420 hrs, he added.
