Suitcase with panchaloha idol fished out from sea

Chennai, Mar 19 (UNI) Two suitcases, containing one-feet high Panchaloha idol of Lord Muruga, jewellery, seven silk sarees and other items, were fished out from the Bay of Bengal at Foreshore estate beach by two youths here yesterday, police today said.

Police said the youths Murugan and Kalvinathan, who went to the beach to relax, fished out the suitcases, when they saw it floating on the sea.

Later, they handed over the suitcases to the police.
