Sinha asks Kashmiri youth to become as ""messengers of peace''

Jammu, Mar 19 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir governor S K Sinha today asked the ''misguided youths'' of the state to join the mainstream and contribute in the development of state as well as the nationa.

While addressing the youths, the Governor wished them success in their careers and hoped that they would prove worthy citizens of the nation which was emerging as ''a future global power.'' It was a unique experience for a group of Kupwara students, to go round the grand Mughal monuments during their trip outside the state, under the army's operation ''Sadhbavna.'' Apprising youths about the progress being made in the country in various sectors, the Governor said Indian youth were making a remarkable contribution all over the world by dint of their hardwork, talent and enterprise.

The students were on a trip to Delhi, Mumbai, Goa and peripheral areas of the union capital.

The Governor joined the students at a get together and presented them gifts. The students presented a memento to the governor.

The students were thrilled to meet the dignitaries at various places and had interactions with the president, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, governor of Goa and Chief of the army staff. They visited kutub minar, Mughal Gardens, India Gate, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Delhi Zoo, Agra, Gate way of India, Mumbai dock yard, Madgaon and Dabolim and naval dock yard in Goa.
