Raipur, Mar 19 (UNI) A sessions court will tomorrow hear the bail plea of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi, who was arrested yesterday on the basis of a wrrant issued by a court on a 'complaint case' related to the murder of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ram Avatar Jaggi in June 2003.

Additional District and Sessions Judge B L Tidake, who heared Mr Jogi's bail plea, adjourned the case till tomorrow, as the complainant Satish Jaggi's counsel sought time to file his reply.

Mr Jogi had moved the sessions court after the application for bail was earlier turned down by the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM-class one) Praveen Pradhan saying that it was not in his court's jurisdiction to hear this case.

The matter came up in the court of CJM as additional CJM Satyabhama Ajay Dubay, who had issued warrant against Mr Jogi, was on leave.

After the CJM turned down the bail plea, the former chief minister moved the sessions court.

Mr Jogi was arrested by the police yesterday at Virendra Nagar, while he was busy with the campaign for the Lok Sabha by-election in Rajnandgaon.

The slain NCP leader's son Satish Jaggi had filed a complaint in the court seeking to array Mr Jogi as one of accused in the case of murder of his father on June four 2003.
