CBI raids suspended CISF Commandant's houses in Kochi, TVM

Kochi, Mar 19 (UNI) The CBI today raided the houses of suspended CISF Commandant K C Suresh Kumar here and in Thiruvananthapuram and seized some allegedly incriminating documents.

CBI sources here said the raids were conducted this morning on the request of the investigating agency's Delhi unit, which had arrested Mr Suresh Kumar earlier this month in connection with the murder of an advocate, Ms Vasantha, in Port Blair.

Mr Suresh Kumar was serving as the CISF Commandant in-charge of the security operations at the Nedumbassery International Airport near here at the time of his arrest.

He was summoned to Port Blair for interrogation and arrested there. He was posted in Port Blair with the Intelligence Bureau prior to his posting at Nedumbassery.
