Lucknow, Mar 18 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti (BJS) president and firebrand Ram temple movement leader Uma Bharti today charged BJP and Samajwadi Party with being hand-in-hand to regain power in Uttar Pradesh.

Ms Bharti also released her party's first list of 13 candidates for the forthcoming assembly election. ''The second list of 84 candidates will be announced later,'' she told reporters.

cherging that charged BJP and SP with having a hidden pact to regain power in UP, she claimed BJP had lost its agenda of Hindutva and was merely working on the principles of reganing power at any cost.

She also lamented at the way Gorakhpur MP Adityanath was sidelined by the party, which forced him to announce plans to field his own candidates in Poorvanchal (east UP).

Ms Bharti noted that by chalking out an alliance with Apna Dal, BJP was supporting parties fielding criminals and anti-nationals as their candidates. ''Apna Dal is giving ticket to underworld don Abu Salem and BJP is hobnobbing with that party,'' she noted out.
