Ramvilas criticises RJD for fielding candidate in Palamu

Daltonganj, Mar 18 (UNI) Criticising RJD for fielding its candidate for the Palamu bypoll Union Steel Minister Ramvilas Paswan today said RJD should not field its candidate on ''moral grounds''.

Talking to reporters here Mr Paswan said that Manoj Bhuyian from RJD had lost his Loksabha seat following the cash-for-query scam after which the bypoll was necessitated.

Justifying his party's candidature Mr Paswan said that all the UPA coalition had fielded their seaprate candidates.

Refering to earlier elections of 1999 Mr Paswan said Mr Prasad had to loose whenever he was alone in elections.

Terming allocation of agriculture land for Special Economic zone as unjust, Mr Paswan said it would affect farmers and their agriculture.

The Union Minister also the in-charge of chemical and fertiliser deepartment said about 250 km long PCPIR was being built for petro-chemicals adding no agricultural land would be acquired under the project.

UNI
