Minor girl raped, murdered by youth in Karnataka

Hubli, Mar 17 (UNI) Karnataka Police here have arrested a 20-year-old man on the charge of raping and murdering a five-and-a-half-year-old girl.

Police arrested Jafarsab Mulla for allegedly throwing Simreen into an unused well in the city, yesterday. The body was recovered from the well with the help of the fire brigade.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Prakash told UNI it was suspected to be a case of rape, but everything would be clear only after all the test results were out.

The arrested was also being put under medical test.
