Koda lays foundation of 3 MT capacity Jindal Steel plant

Hazaribagh, Mar 18 (UNI) Urging peoples to co-operate in establishinig new industries in state, Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today said that state government was trying to make the MoUs a reality.

Mr Koda, after laying the foundation stone of a steel production unit of Jindal Steel and Power Limited at the Balkudra area in Patratu block here, said new industries would also provide employment opportunity among the local people.

Mr Koda said government would also try to reopen the Indo-Asahi glass factory.

Managing director of JS&P limited Naveen Jindal said the company was planning to build a 3 million tonne capacity plant which would later be increased to the capacity of 6 million tonnes.
