Gandhi Katha to promote Gandhian philisophy

Mumbai, Mar 18 (UNI) In an effort to promote Gandhism and encash the curiosity created by popular Bollywood film 'Lage Raho Munnabhai', a Gandhi Katha was organised here today.

The three-hour programme, presented by prominent Gandhian Narayan Desai, highlighted the life of Gandhi and his philisophy towards life and society.

On the occassion, several books on various subjects by Gandhi in English, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati were put on sale at discounted prices.

Narayan Desai, the son of the Mahatma's long-time personal secretary Mahadev Desai was brought up in Gandhi Ashram and has presented more than 40 Kathas from the last three years.
