2 Pak fishing boats seized off Jamnagar coast

Jamnagar, Mar 18 (UNI) The Coast Guards today seized two Pakistani fishing vessels from 13 nautical miles off Jakhau in the north-west area.

Coast Guard commander on duty A P Badola and his team in their patrol boat 'Subhadra Kumari' rounded up the two vessels 'Al Majid' and 'Al Yusuf' alongwith 13 persons onboard the two boats when they strayed into Indian waters. The captains of the boat have been identified as Abdul Salam and Arshad Ali from Karachi.

The vessels had left Karachi on March 8. Also seized were 800 kg of fish from the two vessels.

Coast guard sources said the Pakistanis will be brought to Okha late evening today and will be handed over to the police tomorrow.

After interrogation they will be produced at a Dwaraka court.
