New Delhi, Mar 16 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata party tonight released its second list of 89 rpt 89 candidates for the coming MCD polls in Delhi, scheduled for April 5.

With the release of the second list of candidates, the party has now released a list of candidates for 270 wards, out of 272 for which polls are to be held.

Of the 272 seats, ten have been left to the Shiromani Akali Dal (Bdal).

Party sources said many sitting councillors have been dropped from the list of candidates released by the BJP.

These include councillors Mira Kanwaria, Nirdosh Sarin and Ravi Bansal.

The sources said most of the sitting councillors were dropped because their ward fell in the reserved category.
