Prisoners observe fast condemning attack on fishermen

Chennai, Mar 17 (UNI) As many as 550 undertrial prisoners of the Central Prison at Puzhal near here observed a one-day fast protesting the attack on Indian fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy personnel.

According to sources, the agitators urged the Central and Tamil Nadu governments to ensure the protection of the fishermen.
