One killed, 5 injured in South Delhi roof collapse

New Delhi, Mar 17 (UNI) One person died and five others were injured when a roof collapsed in East of Kailash area of South Delhi this afternoon.

Sources said a steel tower of a mobile company was being erected in a two-storey building in 'E' Block of East of Kailash, when its roof collapsed at about 1340 hrs.

Six of the 16 labourers working there were trapped under the debris.

The injured were rushed to the AIIMS hospital where one of them, Dhananjay (40), died.

Others were released after initial treatment.
