LSBM mulls incentive schemes to attract Indian students
Chennai, Mar 17 (UNI) The London School of Business Management (LSBM), one of the leading colleges in UK, is mulling lot of incentives to attract Indian students for their placement assured Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.
Talking to UNI here today, LSBM Academic Affairs Director Rupert Jones said the institution offers undergraduate courses in Business Management, Computer Education, Travel, Tourism and Hospitality, Retail Management and Education and postgraduate courses in Business Management, Travel, Tourism and Hospitality and Retail Management.
He said at present 2500 students from across the globe, including 90 from India, were studying at LSBM.
The degrees awarded by LSBM were affiliated to prestigious universities and recognised by professional bodies in the UK.
The course fee range from 1,800 Pounds to 11,000 Pounds and the duration of each course was from one to three years, he added.
Mr Jones said they were working with top legal firms in the UK to promote migration to the UK.
The latest was the Highly Skilled Migration Programme (HSMP), which allows young highly qualified and professional people to migrate to the UK based on point's assessment.
He said the LSBM was having 10 agents across the country including Delhi, Rajasthan, Hyderabad and Bangalore for canvassing and enrolling the Indian students.
He said the LSBM had recently opened a regional office in the city for recruitment, counselling, language coaching, visa processing and training.
LSBM had similar offices in Brazil, South Africa, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and it plans to open regional offices in Thailand and Dubai by October this year, he added.
