Jewel thierves strike in a house in city

Chennai, Mar 17 (UNI) Miscreants broke into a house and decamped with jewellery worth Rs 8 lakh and other valuables in the city yesterday.

Police sid, the owner of the house was employed as an executive in a private bank in New Delhi, while his wife was working as an executive in a software firm here. The couple had gone out for shopping when the robbers struck. Whey they returned home last night, the two discovered that the house was burgled.

Based on a complaint police are investigating.
