Cop injured in landmine blast in AP

Hyderabad, Mar 17 (UNI) A police official was severely injured in a landmine blast apparently triggered by CPI (Moaist) naxals near Donkarai Village of Y Ramavaram Mandal in East Godavari District today.

Police said the special party policeman was injured in the blast which occurred during combing operations in the village.

The injured cop was immediately shifted to Visakhapatnam by a helicopter for treatment.
