BT cotton seed price slashed in Punjab

Ratta Tibba (Muktsar), MAR 17 (UNI) In a move to facilitate cotton growers, the Punjab Government today decided to slash the price of recommended qualities of BT cotton seed from Rs 1,390 to Rs 760 per packet.

This was announced by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in a media intcraction here during the 'Sangat Darshan Programme' He said the BT cotton seed with reduced cost would be available at the Markfed, Punseed and authorized distributors of reputed seed firms.
