BJP condemns govt's failure to protect Indian fishermen

Chennai, Mar 17 (UNI) The fishermen wing of the Tamil Nadu unit of BJP today staged a demonstration condemning the Central and state governments for failing to protect the Indian fishermen being attacked by the Sri Lankan Navy personnel.

The demonstration was led by its State Secretary A Satish Kumar.

State BJP President L Ganesan, General Secretary Tamilisai Soundirarajan and others spoke and urged the governments to protect the life and properties of the fishermen.
