Babu has patent rights over corruption, alleges Minister

Hyderabad, Mar 17 (UNI) Reacting sharply to the allegation of TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu that Congress was indulging in corrupt practices in the ongoing Legislative Council elections, Konatala Rama Krishna, Minister for Commercial taxes said Naidu had ''patent rights'' over corruption.

In a statement here, He alleged that it was Naidu who introduced ''immoral and corrupt practices'' in the election process.

The Minister also charged that Naidu was making allegations against Congress to cover up the corrupt practices and use of money power by his own party and added that the opposition leader had turned politics into a joke.

He also charged that Mr Naidu had given scope for horse-trading by fielding a fifth candidate though his party had chances to win only four seats from the lower House.
