Air India announces daily express flight to Sharjah

Kochi, Mar 17 (UNI) Air India today announced a daily AI Express flight from Kochi to Sharjah and a special vacation fare of Rs 499 (excluding taxes) to Mumbai from March 25.

An Air India state here said the daily flight to Sharjah was introduced because it was a sought-after destination by non-resident Keralites.

It said the airline was introducing a record low fare of Rs 499 plus taxes for the Kochi-Mumbai sector.

While these connections were all on the low cost category, food and beverage (non-alcoholic) would be served on board at no additional cost.

As per the summer schedule there would be eight flights a week to Dubai, nine to Abu Dhabi, seven to Sharjah, four to Muscat, two to Salalah, one to Al Ain and three to Mumbai from Kerala, the statement added.
