4 youth taken into custody in disputed site

Ayodhya, Mar 17 (UNI) Police have taken into custody four youth found loitering in the disputed Sri Ram Janmabhoomi premises here.

Police Superintendent (City) K K Asthana said today the youth were apprehended last evening near 'Ramkot'.

Two of them were identified as Abdul Samar and Jhhabbu.

Mr Asthana said the quartet claimed to be natives of Assam and the information given by them was being verified, before further action is taken.

Meanwhile, security had been beefed up in the temple town, especially around the disputed structure.
