2 killed, 4 injured in road accident

Sitapur, Mar 17 (UNI) Two people were killed and four others injured grievously in a truck-car collision on Lucknow-Delhi national highway early here today.

Police said the ill-fated car was en route to Delhi, when the incident occurred at around 0130 hrs near village Bharkunda in Maholi area.

Two persons, later identified as Ved Prakash and Prem Prakash, died on the spot.

Four others, including two children, were injured and rushed to hospital for treatment.
