Man sentenced to life for murdering wife

Faridabad, Mar 16 (UNI) A local court today awarded life imprisonment to a man charged with murdering his wife, whom he suspected of infidelity.

Shiv Narayan and his wife Babita, who worked in a company here, used to fight as he charged her of infidelity. Ultimately, Shiv killed his wife in rage after a heated argument on February 9, 2006.

An FIR was lodged with the Sector - 7 Police Station against him and he was immediately arrested.

Additional District Judge Rahul Garg sentenced him to life imprisonment, after convicting him of murder. A fine of Rs 50,000 was also imposed on him, police said.
